About Richard Holliday
Richard has 25 years of experience in technology commercialisation, both in early-stage ventures and blue-chip industry, with Corus Steel (now Tata), BMW Group and Jaguar Land Rover. He was previously Deputy Head of Technology Transfer at Oxford University Innovation, one of the world’s largest Technology Transfer Offices, where he led a team licensing IP to industry partners and creating new spin-out ventures. As Director of Technology at the World Gold Council, he led the global 'Gold for Good' initiative, to commercialise new uses of gold in electronics, catalysis and biomedical applications, through seed investments in early-stage technologies. He was a board member at one of these ventures, Nanostellar Inc, a company that commercialised emission control catalysts in the European automotive sector. Richard is a Fellow of The Institute of Materials (IOM3).
